Every model, controller, and JSON response from modules 00–08 lived in a throwaway app you'll never touch again. Starting now, you're rebuilding apps/pawwalk-api — a real Rails 8.1 API-only backend that already sits FINISHED in your repo. It's the answer key. Every remaining module in this course has you read a real file, then retype the heart of it yourself.

There's no suspense about whether it works — you already curled it in module 08's capstone spirit, and you're about to curl the real thing in a minute. The suspense is whether YOU can write it.
