Pass a request down a line of handlers

Chain of Responsibility sends a request along a sequence of handlers; each either handles it or passes it on. A booking must clear a pipeline: availability, then payment, then policy. The first failing check stops the chain and reports why.

In Python the whole pattern often collapses to a list of callables and a loop — no linked handler objects needed.
